Silvia Balady works with public relations, communication and media. Her focus is to advertise art expositions and other related subjects. One of the main ways to advertise is sending out press releases to journalists, writers and other contacts, with information related to the expositions.
Within the press releases, files are attached (high resolution pictures and other documents), making the size of each e-mail very big. Typically, internet providers limit e-mail size (to send/receive) for security reasons and because of this some contacts have difficulty receiving those e-mails. In addition, these e-mails need to be personalized with names and other contact information. In conclusion, the process had to be done manually and was time consuming.
We decided to create and develop a system that could make the whole process easier and faster. This system now manages contacts, contact groups and sends press releases and invitations. All the files required to send the press releases are located on the server, so the e-mails are much smaller and the contacts wont have problems receiving the e-mails anymore. The e-mails have specific links to each file, picture previews in low resolution and are completely customized. The whole process used to take hours or even days to complete, but now it can be done in less than 5 minutes.

Grupo ABC Pneus, is the biggest automotive service and product chain in Brazil. To keep the brand strong, increase competition and online presence they redesigned their website. As an institutional website that requires high interaction with customers, they needed a variety of contact forms on the new web site.
To make the maintenance of the contact forms simple and easy, I was solicited to develop a dynamic contact form management system. Now, without any difficulty, it’s possible to create different kinds of contact forms with different fields and data types.

The company Marble Warehouse is one of the biggest online stores for marble and other kinds of natural stones in the United States. Since their growth over the past few years, they decided to change the e-commerce system for a new one that could better fulfill their needs. For this reason, I was given the opportunity to implement a new e-commerce tool for them.
Not only was I responsible for some customizations, but also for the integration between specialized shipping and handling carriers, online payment gateways and applying the new design layout.
